The AMV soft starter uses phase-angle control technology based on high-power thyristors. After receiving a start command, the controller synchronizes with the grid voltage and gradually adjusts the thyristor firing angle.
This process smoothly increases the motor terminal voltage and current, allowing the motor to accelerate steadily. Optical fiber triggering ensures complete electrical isolation between the control system and the high-voltage thyristors, providing excellent electromagnetic interference resistance and operational safety.
